Who I am

This site belongs to Craig Aitken, a UI designer and web developer based in Brisbane, Australia (ABN 41 971 932 029). If you have any questions about your information, email me at craig@craigaitken.me.

What I collect

Only what you send me. If you use the contact form, that’s your name, email address, your message and any optional details you add (budget, timeframe and how you heard about me). If you email me, book a call or message me on WhatsApp or LinkedIn, I receive whatever you send that way.

How the contact form works

The form is delivered to my inbox by FormSubmit, a form-to-email service, so your message passes through their servers on its way to me. Booking a call uses Google Calendar’s appointment pages, which are covered by Google’s own privacy policy.

What I use it for

To reply to you and talk about your project or role, and, if we work together, to run that work. I don’t sell your information, add you to mailing lists without asking, or share it with anyone for marketing.

How long I keep it

As long as I need it to reply to you, and for any work that follows. You can ask me to delete it at any time.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. It remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme in your own browser’s storage; that never leaves your device. If you open the live Beer Trails demo, the app stores anything you log on your device too.

Like any website, the site is served by a hosting company (Hostinger), whose servers may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, for security.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you by emailing craig@craigaitken.me. If you’re in Australia and unhappy with how I’ve handled it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

If this notice changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
